By booking an appointment with Dog Haven Studio, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Vaccination Requirements
All pets must be up to date on their rabies vaccination. Proof of vaccination may be requested at any time.
2. Health Disclosure
Owners must inform Dog Haven Studio of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, behavioral concerns, or special needs prior to the appointment. Failure to disclose relevant information may affect the safety of your pet and our staff.
3. Matted Coats
Pets with severely matted coats may require shaving for humane and safe removal of the matting. While every precaution will be taken, mat removal may reveal or cause skin irritation, redness, sores, or other pre existing conditions. Additional charges may apply for heavily matted coats.
4. Senior Pets & Special Needs Pets
Grooming can be stressful for elderly pets, pets with medical conditions, and brachycephalic (short nosed) breeds. While we take every reasonable precaution, Dog Haven Studio is not responsible for complications resulting from pre existing health conditions or age related issues.
5. Fleas & Parasites
If fleas, ticks, or other parasites are discovered during the grooming appointment, additional treatment and sanitation fees may apply. In severe cases, service may be declined.
6. Aggressive or Unsafe Behavior
For the safety of pets and staff, Dog Haven Studio reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services for pets displaying aggressive, dangerous, or highly stressed behavior. Charges may apply for services already performed.
7. Appointment Cancellations & No Shows
We kindly request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or appointment changes. Late cancellations and no show appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee.
8. Late Pick Up
Owners are expected to pick up their pets promptly upon completion of grooming services. Additional supervision or daycare fees may apply for late pick ups.
9. Payment Policy
Payment is due upon completion of services. We accept debit and credit card payments. Cash payments are not accepted.
10. Emergency Veterinary Care
In the event of an emergency, Dog Haven Studio is authorized to seek veterinary treatment for your pet. Any veterinary expenses incurred shall be the responsibility of the owner.
11. Photography Consent
Dog Haven Studio may take photographs of pets before, during, or after grooming for record keeping, training, marketing, website, and social media purposes unless otherwise requested in writing by the owner.
12. Limitation of Liability
While every reasonable effort will be made to ensure the safety and well being of your pet, Dog Haven Studio shall not be held liable for illness, injury, loss, escape, death, or damages resulting from pre existing conditions, age related issues, behavioral problems, or circumstances beyond our control.
Agreement
By booking an appointment, checking the consent box, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Dog Haven Studio reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
